Where is the wedding taking place?
The wedding events will take place at Dreams Playa Mujeres and Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort in Playa Mujeres, Mexico, just north of Cancun.
What is the difference between Dreams and Secrets?
Dreams Playa Mujeres is family-friendly and welcomes guests of all ages. Secrets Playa Mujeres is adults-only, ages 18+, and offers a quieter luxury atmosphere.
Can guests access both resorts?
Adults 18+ staying at Dreams have access to Secrets Playa Mujeres. Adults 18+ booked in Dreams Preferred Club may also enjoy Preferred Club access at both Dreams and Secrets.

The official Rivera Wedding room block was created to give guests a complete wedding week experience, not just a room reservation. Third-party room-only rates may change frequently and may not include the experiences, transfers, group access, or support connected to the official wedding block. Booking through the block also helps us properly count you as part of the wedding group and keep everyone connected throughout the celebration.
What makes the official room block a better value?
Your official wedding package includes important travel components such as roundtrip airport transfers, access to hosted wedding events, the private catamaran excursion, farewell activities, and personalized support from RLH Travel. When comparing prices, it is important to compare the full experience, not just the room rate.
What happens if I book the resort on my own?
Guests who book outside the official room block may not have access to hosted wedding week experiences, roundtrip airport transfers, or the private catamaran excursion. It may also make it difficult to accurately account for your participation in group events. To ensure the full wedding experience, we strongly encourage all guests to book through the official block.
When does booking open?
Booking details and deposit information will be shared once the official process opens. Suites are limited and will be secured on a first-deposited basis, so we encourage guests to reserve as early as possible. Secrets Playa Mujeres availability is especially limited.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. Deposit requirements and payment schedules will be shared once the official booking process opens. Monthly payment options may be available for guests who prefer to spread the cost over time.
Can guests upgrade their rooms?
Yes. Additional room categories and VIP suite options may be available upon request depending on inventory and availability. Guests interested in upgraded suites should contact RLH Travel directly for options.
Are VIP suites available?
Yes. VIP suite options may be available at both Dreams Playa Mujeres and Secrets Playa Mujeres. These suites are limited and priced separately based on availability, resort, room category, and length of stay. Guests interested in VIP suite options should submit an inquiry through the contact form.

Which airport should I fly into?
Guests should fly into Cancun International Airport, airport code CUN.
Are airport transfers included?
Yes. Roundtrip shared airport transfers between Cancun International Airport and the resort are included with all wedding packages booked through the official wedding group.
What stay lengths are available?
Optional 4-night and 5-night packages are available.
Passports & Travel Documents
Do I need a passport?
Yes. A valid passport is required for all guests traveling internationally to Mexico.
How do I apply for a passport for the first time?
Complete Form DS-11, provide proof of U.S. citizenship, provide a valid photo ID, bring a passport photo, apply in person at an authorized passport acceptance facility, and pay the required fees.
Start early. We recommend applying at least 6 to 9 months before travel.
How do I renew my passport?
Many adult passports can be renewed by mail or online if eligible. Check your expiration date now and renew early if it expires close to the wedding travel dates.
What about passports for children?
Children need their own passports. Child passport applications generally require both parents or legal guardians. Children's passports are valid for a shorter period than adult passports.
Yes. The private catamaran experience to Isla Mujeres is included in all wedding packages booked through the official room block.
What is included with the catamaran experience?
The excursion includes roundtrip transportation, private catamaran access, snorkeling at the MUSA underwater museum, open bar, beach club access, buffet, music, and a live DJ experience.
Travel Protection Plus
Is travel protection recommended?
Yes. Travel protection is strongly recommended for all guests traveling internationally. It can help protect your vacation investment and provide peace of mind before and during travel.
What can Travel Protection Plus help cover?
Depending on the plan selected, it may help with cancel or change benefits, trip interruption, travel delay, missed connection, lost or delayed baggage, medical expenses while traveling, emergency medical transportation, and hurricane-related travel disruption.
When should travel protection be purchased?
Travel protection is generally best purchased at the time of initial booking or deposit to maximize available benefits and eligibility windows.
Children & Families
Are children allowed?
Yes. Children are welcome at Dreams Playa Mujeres. Secrets Playa Mujeres is adults-only for guests ages 18 and older.
Are children included in the catamaran event?
Yes, children may participate. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available for minors. Alcohol is only served to guests of legal drinking age.
Absolutely not. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. We are simply grateful to be celebrating with you in Playa Mujeres.
What is the Future Fund?
We already have a wonderful home filled with everything we need. What we treasure most are experiences and the memories we create together. Our Future Fund on Zola allows guests to contribute toward our future adventures as a married couple.
Can I give a cash gift directly?
Of course. You are welcome to contribute through our Zola registry which makes it easy to give toward our Future Fund. Any gesture of generosity is deeply appreciated.
